This image shows the body structure and colouration in a flat-shaded style for ease of showing details. Note there are no wings.
This is an additional image by the same artist as the flat-color reference sheet, showing an angle of the body that captures various details that are not explicitly called out in the reference sheet. In particular, this shows the construction of the tail in much greater detail, and shows the legs in an alternate digitigrade style.
This is a drawing by LizKay showing the type of outfits (albeit a rather extreme example) that the character would generally wear. This would be considered 'combat ready' but the general idea holds: A few small pouches to hold things, something that can be used as a walking staff, very little actually covering the torso or legs or arms. Lots of straps are a nice visual touch, might carry something on their back (backpack, extra gear, a cloak) but travels light.
This photo shows the type of 'red-eye glow' the eyes should have, and how it can occur in real life as well on an owl-like face.
This photo shows good examples of how the 'white highlight band' seperating the russet from the black on the back can look, primarilly. Also, the 'black' on the flat-color diagram can be up to as light as the black-ish fur on this photo, and similairly the whites can be as dark as the cream-whites on this photo. Ideally a 'Wing Commander' like blue-sheen black for the black-fur areas is requested, but this is an acceptable real-world fur example if slightly fantastical fur colours are something an artist is uncomfortable with for whatever reason.
